A NOTIFYall Owner may invite individuals, known as Members, to participate in a group by providing them with the unique NOTIFYall login username and a password. The individual member then logs in to the secure website to add their device or multiple devices. The device can be a text capable cellular / PCS phone, alphanumeric pager, PDA or an email address. The registration is simple, intuitive and fast. Drop down menus for the different cellular / PCS and paging carriers makes the registration a breeze. The Member may log back on to the NOTIFYall website at any time to change or add a device. The NOTIFYall owner may log on with a higher-level password at any time to view, modify or delete any of the group participants. Group Members, not the NOTIFYall owner, can be made responsible for the administration and upkeep of their individual devices on the NOTIFYall service. This feature makes the NOTIFYall service very convenient for the NOTIFYall owner.

The administration and setup for NOTIFYall is quick and easy. The NOTIFYall Owner subscribes to the service and creates a login username and a group password. The NOTIFYall Owner can then enter the members device information or can print / email cards that can be printed directly from the NOTIFYall site to hand out to anyone the Owner wants to participate in the NOTIFYall Group. Each NOTIFYall Group is assigned a unique telephone number for that group. The number can be a local number or an 800 toll free number. In addition each NOTIFYall Group is assigned an email address unique to the group. This allows the Owner or anyone who has access to the Group number / email address to send a message to the group.

Most cellular carriers allow their subscribers to receive text messages without any additional feature additions. Some exceptions to this are: Verizon, Cricket, Alltel and Sprint. With Verizon even though the text feature is included in all plan packages, you may need to call Verizon and specifically ask them to "unblock" your account in order to receive text messages on your phone. This can easily be done by dialing *611 from your cellular phone. With Cricket, Alltel and Sprint you must be subscribed to the text messaging feature in order to receive text messages. The monthly charges vary according to the plan you are on, but typically range from free to $4.99 per month. If you are unsure if your phone is registered for text messaging, call the customer service number of your carrier. With Nextel, AT&T, T-Mobile, Cingular and all paging carriers (alphanumeric service), the text service is automatically activated on all plans. Also your phone must be capable of receiving text messages. Most phones manufactured or purchased after 2000 are text capable.
